I have taught secondary science and math for 21 years. The last few years I have focused on allowing students to use more tools to either learn those subjects or show what they have learned. I am also very interested in video production, both in the classroom and for my own personal projects.
I attended ISTE2010 in Denver--amazing! So glad to be back at ISTE and in beautiful San Diego! I belong to NETA, which is the Nebraska affiliate.
While I am fairly new to Twitter, I find it an extremely useful tool for finding resources! I am more of a consumer than a producer, but I am trying to get better! @MrsCoover
Next year I will be in a new position as a Science Coach through the University of Nebraska. We are focusing on using inquiry to teach the science content outlined in the state standards, which includes a strand on inquiry! The coaches involved in this project will be working with about 50 teachers in rural schools throughout the state.
